Why are you interested in joining the Board of Directors at Showtimers?

I’m passionate about community theater because it brings people together and gives everyone a chance to be part of something creative and meaningful. Showtimers has a long history of being welcoming, and I’d love to help continue that tradition while supporting high-quality productions that make our community proud.

What experience do you bring with you?

In the capacity of theater, I bring my perspective as a parent of a child actor who has been actively involved in productions, as well as my skills as a photographer, which I’ve used to support theater and arts events.

In the capacity of nonprofit board service, I bring professional fundraising experience from my time as Fundraising Director for the March of Dimes, where I worked with volunteers, donors, and community partners to support a mission-driven organization. Those skills in collaboration, development, and community engagement would translate well to supporting Showtimers’ goals.

What would you like to achieve in your time on the Board of Directors?

One accomplishment I’d love to see is expanding community engagement, whether through a successful fundraising initiative, a new outreach effort, or creating more opportunities for students, families, and newcomers to feel welcome and have performance opportunities at Showtimers. Helping strengthen both the audience and volunteer base would be a meaningful impact during my term.
