Showtimers values on-going education for adults in all aspects of theatre. Whether you are a newcomer to theatre or looking to build on existing knowledge, there is a class you will love.

Interested in theatre, but not sure how to get started? Want to volunteer, but not familiar with theatre? This is the workshop for you! Learn more about Showtimers (including a backstage tour), all the volunteer opportunities, and more about theatre jargon, basic knowledge, and etiquette.

Auditions can be intimidating, and having to read with someone you don't know doesn't help. This workshop, led by some recognizable Showtimers performers, will teach you how to prepare for your audition, basic script analysis, and how to respect your scene partner.

No show is complete without a talented technical designer and a lot of work is done before the designer sits at the control board or picks up a saw. Learn basic design terms and techniques from experienced lighting, sound, and set designers and sign up for mentorship opportunities!

Prepare for upcoming Musical Theatre auditions with a 2 part series! A Vocal Audition Workshop, led by local music director Heather Brand, from 10am-12pm and a Dance Audition Workshop, led by choreographer Jessica Hollingsworth, from 2-4pm. You'll learn warm-up techniques, how to select the perfect vocal selection, basic dance steps, and how to conquer your audition nerves.
