Production Information

Showtimers Community Theatre is pleased to present The Drowsy Chaperone, with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison and book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical-within-a-comedy about a lonely, musical-theater superfan known as "Man in Chair." When he plays his favorite 1928 vinyl cast album, the hilarious Jazz Age show—featuring an eloping starlet, bumbling gangsters, and a tipsy chaperone—magically springs to life in his living room.

Directed by Salena Sullivan, the production is supported by Music Director Heather Brand, Choreographer Jessie Allen, Stage Manager Katee Holznagel, and Producer Christa Woomer. The production is designed with the collaboration of the design team including Denise Pappas (Properties Design), Evan Odson (Set Design), Rafe Telsch (Lighting Design), --- (Sound Design), and Kelly Anglim (Costume Design).

The Drowsy Chaperone is recommended for ages 10+ due to some mature, but humorous, subject matter.
