  Showtimers Community Theatre is pleased to present The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson. 

 The Revolutionists is an irreverent, girl-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen (and fan of ribbons) Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle work together to make change without losing their heads. This grand and dream-tweaked comedy is about violence and legacy, art and activism, feminism and terrorism, compatriots and chosen sisters, and how we actually go about changing the world. 

Directed by Jamie Stewart,  the production is supported by Stage Managers Megan Dolinger and Caits Fitzpatrick, and Producer Victoria Raff. The production is designed with the collaboration of the design team including Denise Pappas (Properties Design), Halea Fowler (Set Design), Corey Stewart (Lighting/Sound Design), and additional artistic support from Heather Brand, Nico Egan and Maggie Stark. 

The Revolutionists is recommended for ages 16+ due to some strong language and murderous conversations.
